I don’t tend to buy expensive headphones despite using them daily, as long as the sound quality is good, why bother with the more expensive ones? Well, it turns out the trade off for the cheaper price is the durability- cheaper headphones last maybe six months for me on average, but not the TOZO T6 earbuds.
At this point, I’ve been using them for about two years and they are still as good as ever despite being dropped more times than I can count and the mesh bit inside the earbud coming out- and I feel that’s well worth the $20 I spent.
These earbuds have pretty standard features for the product and price point- they’re bluetooth, you charge the earbuds with the case and the case charges fairly quickly- from fully out of charge to fully charged it takes an hour, maybe slightly more if you leave it uncharged for a while or use them heavily and frequently. The time the charge lasts for everything is quite nice as well- the case lasts a day or two depending on how often you use the earbuds, each earbud has ten hours of battery life. Also, when I got mine the only color option was black, but they are now sold in a variety of colors (shown below).

Now, over the time I’ve used the TOZO T6s I’ve found a few downsides worth mentioning to potential buyers:
- They have “smart touch control” that can be very finicky- all the controls depend on taps or presses. For example: Pausing/playing whatever you’re listening to and answering calls is one tap, skipping forwards OR backwards is two taps, and pressing adjusts the volume or turns the earbuds off- it is very easy to accidentally turn the volume to max while trying to turn an earbud off. Luckily- as long as the case has charge, putting the headphone away turns them off.
- The listing claims the earbuds are waterproof, but I can’t imagine that working very well because water can also trigger the touch controls- like when a drop of water falls on a smartphone screen.
- I have yet to find an earbud case holder that fits them. This may just be a problem for me- but I drop them and lose them quite often. It may be less easy to lose them if you choose a color other than black.
- The case’s charging port is covered by a small piece of rubber, but that piece falls off fairly easily. If that happens you just need to clean the port out if it looks dirty or it may not charge properly.
- They could be used as a microphone for calls, but it makes the audio quality default to a worse version/occasionally prevents you from hearing calls, the microphone is also located in one headphone and not fantastic. These are better for listening.
If you are interested in purchasing them the TOZO T6 earbuds are available on Amazon on this page, as the classic edition.
