Swimming as an exercise is popular as an all-around body developer and is particularly useful in therapy and as exercise for physically handicapped persons.
Swimming is a great total body workout! When you swim, you engage almost every major muscle group, including your arms, legs and core.
If you need a low impact form of exercise, swimming is for you! Swimming increases your heart rate without putting excess stress on your joints.
Hitting the pool regularly builds strength, tones muscle, enhances fitness, and increases your metabolism.
Swimming can be one of the most challenging workouts (if you want it to be) and as a result, you can burn a massive amount of calories, which is ideal if weight loss is your focus. An elite swimmer can burn up to 1,000 calories per hour in the pool. More likely, you’ll burn anywhere from 300-500 calories per hour of swimming depending on your gender, body weight, and swimming intensity. Swimming also exercises your lungs and helps to keep you fit. One of the important parts of Learning how to swim is it will provide you with the ability to survive in water. You never know when there is a time where you will be around water, and swimming will end up saving your life. If you plan on going on a cruise, you need to know how to swim to prevent yourself from drowning.

Quite possibly the best burrito bowls i’ve ever had the pleasure of eating came from none other than Taco Hombre located in the heart of Warwick, NY.
My friend Jonah and I at Taco Hombre
Locally sourced ingredients, fresh food and an impeccable atmosphere, Taco Hombre is impossible to beat. My personal favorite burrito bowl consists of rice, grilled chicken, refried beans, cheese, lettuce and tomato. And even if you don’t like burritos, they also have a plethora of other options that may be better suited to your taste. If you’re ever in the area I’d definitely recommend going.
Wonder Woman is a superhero movie on the surface which faced a lot of criticism but when watching it I found important inspirational messages.
Beginning – The movie starts out with a scene of Wonder Woman, Diana as a young kid girl competing in a competition with other warriors. She is winning the race but kept looking behind her causing her to fall off her horse and her horse to run away. She manages to find a path that she can slide down to get ahead of the others and to retrieve her horse. This was technically cheating. Her aunt who is responsible for her training knows what she did, so she stops Diana before won can cross the finish line and win.
At this part in the film, I felt frustrated for her as she was so close to getting to the finish line but was stopped. I felt sympathy for her because I know she tried very hard and did her best, but doing her best doesn’t mean she should win.
The theme that heroes aren’t born overnight is very clear in this movie.
Wonder Woman could not have won that race as a child because she wasn’t ready to and wasn’t ready to carry the responsibilities that a leader obtains. Her strength and abilities if placed in the wrong hands, of someone who is inadequate and lacking in character, would he be devastating.
Diana’s Character
Diana even further proves her selflessness when she relinquishes her wish of getting her first love and boyfriend back that died in the first Wonder Woman movie. She was originally sacrificing her strength for this wish and because she gave it up, she was able to regain her strength and stop the villain. It took a lot of character and putting aside her own needs to do this.
This previous point ties back to the beginning where sacrifices need to be made for the sake of good, character and growth. As a child her aunt pointed up to the golden armor of a solider that sacrificed her life in battle to save all the Amazon’s. She stated that a hero is not born overnight and that a warrior had to go through much hardship to build the honorable character that she had.
This plot goes full circle as Diana wears this armor while fighting Barb who was strong like Wonder Woman as barbs wish was to possess wonder woman’s strength and poise. This shows how Diana has grown and is now able to wield the armor of the Amazon warrior that her people admitted and owed their lives too. Diana also wields her strength with morality and respect. Even when fighting Barb, after basically electrocuting her underwater to stop Barbs attacks, Diana brings her back up to the surface saving her life.
Overall, this movie made me feel very inspired. It was a good reminder that taking the hard and narrow path is what reaps the most rewards and what builds you into a patient and strong person. Taking the easy path is great in the moment but will lead to destitution and dissatisfaction later on. It is better to work hard for something then be granted it immediately.
In today’s market, cars are very expensive and more than half the time come preloaded with very expensive problems. While there isn’t one “correct” choice when shopping for cars in terms of reliability and longevity, Honda is pretty close to it. In this blog post I’ll be discussing the reasons you should consider buying a Honda.
Reliability
For decades, Honda Motors have been accredited for being some of the strongest built in the market. In production they are manufactured to be as efficient as possible while maintaining a decent amount of power. Today, they are built carefully and passionately with cooperation from both humans and robotic presses that ensure complete accuracy. Most Honda’s make it past 200,000 miles with regular maintenance, which you can find more on here.
Comfort
Not only are Hondas reliable, but they also come loaded with some of the nicest interiors in today’s market. Throughout all models and trims, consumers are the main focus throughout interior production. They take into account:
Seating Material
Heated Seats
Steering Wheel Material
Heat/Air-vents
and more, as can be seen in this video!
Experience
There are many different reasons you should buy a Honda, adding onto the refined-comfortable interior are the many bells and whistles that make the car worth it. Most notably would be the horsepower these economy class cars produce. While Honda’s are most known for their 4-cylinder engines, they can also be equipped with a powerful v6 with the same reliability they’re known for. According to Carmax,
"Most Civics you'll be shopping for have fuel-efficient and reasonably powerful engines" (1).
With this being said, these cars aren’t just good for commuting, but can also be pretty fun to drive.

Affordability
With a catalog of affordable cars on the used market, Honda stands out as the best option for your wallet. Nowadays, you can find yourself spending less than $10,000 for any economy model as new as 2015. Considering most used cars with decent mileage can cost up to twenty-grand, you’re doing yourself a big favor choosing Honda.
Could you see yourself in a Honda?
Honda’s are a great choice for not only yourself, but your wallet and possibly your sanity in the long run. With decades of strongly built motors to back themselves up on, what’s stopping you from getting one?
