A nice place to visit and study Hindu cultures and customs, also the store is nice.

Although I am an atheist and have no belief into the supernatural, that doesn’t constitute me ignoring the beauty of religions and cultures from around the world. I have a profound interest in world cultures and their stories, fiction or nonfictional. One of my favorite mythologies to explore is the world of Asian mythologies, such as Hinduism and it’s vast spread around the eastern hemisphere. And what better place to study and learn about a culture than the Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robinsville, NJ.
Named after a Hindu legend who was believed to be an incarnation of one of the three important gods, the temple also possesses the name of Akshardham, meaning domain of god/eternal. This place is to be the second largest mandir (temple) , here in NJ, America. You won’t see another temple like this inside of America, making it also a diplomatic standpoint for American (or Western) Culture as an introduction to eastern cultures.
Even if you’re not a spiritual person, it would be a missing chance to at least explore the temple grounds that are open from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM (except on Tuesdays). You can also buy from the shops there and the temple attendants are open to discussion.
Personally I am visiting this location tomorrow, I will update on how my experience can affect this article in the future.
