Last year I reviewed the TOZO T6 earbuds, calling them the best cheap earbuds. They were long lasting, charged quickly, were durable, and came in a variety of colors. The 2024 Edition, also called the Ergonomic Edition, is either the same or better than the other version in every way- including the price.

Just like the older version, the 2024 Edition earbuds last a long time compared to other cheap options, both in charge and durability. Each earbud has twelve hours of battery life compared to the older version’s ten hours, and the case can sometime last three days- though that depends on how often the earbuds are being charged. The new version can also be charged wirelessly. As for being a cheap option, these earbuds are only $38, while the older edition is now sold for $43- though both go on sale frequently.

The main difference between the two versions of the TOZO T6 earbuds is the appearance. Although both models share the same general shape and range of colors, there are some differences- for one, the 2024 Edition is also called the Ergonomic Edition because it’s more rounded to fit in your ears more comfortably, instead of being kind of basic shaped and flat on the back like the classic edition. The 2024 Edition also has a stronger hinge to the case, so dropping it won’t always cause it to pop open- it still can happen occasionally, but not every time. Something the 2024 Edition technically fixed was the annoying rubber flap covering the charging port on the classic edition- it didn’t do much to protect it and always ended up falling off, so the new version just got rid of it completely.

Overall, I’d say these headphones improved on the old version a good amount, not all of my complaints were fixed, but there were no new complaints either. If you were looking for some good budget priced earbuds, I’d say these may be the new best cheap earbud. If you’re interested, you can order them on Amazon.
TOZO T6 Classic Features/Faults | Changed for the 2024 Edition? | Notes |
---|---|---|
Price | Yes | Though the price is more expensive than the (estimated) $20 in my old review, it’s still $10 cheaper than the classic version and they both go on sale often |
Durability | Yes | The hinge is more secure and the top of the case doesn’t pop open, launching the earbuds, every time it falls |
Charge time and speed | Yes | The time to charge the case and earbuds are roughly the same, but the battery life for the case and each earbud is slightly longer |
Color options | No | The color options are the exact same |
Finicky touch controls | Kind of | I still think it would be a better product without touch controls aside from maybe a pause/play, but they’re less sensitive and react less to small amounts of moisture |
Faulty rubber flap on the charging port | Yes | There are now no flaps of any sort covering the charger port, it’s just open |
Microphone quality | No | These are better listening earbuds than talking earbuds |
